History
Solar Spring & Wire Forms is a Minority-Owned ISO:9001/IATF16949 Certified Company founded by David Diaz in 1979. He Started Solar Spring in his One-car garage with his son Oscar Diaz as his first employee. They soon acquired: US Government, John Deere and a major automotive customer General Motors.
As a result, new machinery and a bigger location were quickly obtained. SSWF later purchased a 55,000sq ft. building previously owned by Schwinn Bicycle Corporation in Chicago.

Solar Spring & Wire Forms acquired additional top Tier I & Tier II automotive customers: Honda, Toyota, GM, Ford, Chrysler, & Mitsubishi. Our loyal customer’s referrals soon added another major customer which led us to relocate once again and purchase an 80,000 sq ft. location ten minutes outside O’Hare International Airport. Our dedicated SSWF team has made these transitions most successful.
Soon after, his son Oscar Diaz became President and Owner in 1999. Oscar since then has redirected the company which continues to thrive and foster a safe environment. He has dedicated himself to continue and improve customer satisfaction.
